IWW labor stickerette designed by Ralph Chaplin-sentenced 20 yrs in 1918. The”shoe”was to be thrown into the machine. Stickerettes were little stickers meant to be put up everywhere to recruit workers and spook employers. The quote is from Big Bill Haywood, head of the IWW at that time.
